My Musings

Welcome to CoffeeMuse’s Musings — a personal hub for the things I build, break, repair, explore, and rant about. Think of it as part blog, part digital notebook, and part shrine to the glory days of computing… with a few detours into 3D printing, coffee , and cats who refuse to respect workspace boundaries.

Whether you’re here for:

  • A deep dive into retro tech like IBM System/370 mainframes, VAXen, and the forgotten elegance of the Apple Lisa,
  • Tips and lessons from my 3D printing adventures (or misadventures),
  • A growing knowledge base of commands, configs, and “why does this work now but didn’t yesterday?”,
  • Or just some good old-fashioned geeky rambling,

…you’ll find it all here. Documented for posterity. Or at least for the next time I forget how I solved something.

This site is a work in progress — kind of like most of my projects — but my goal is to make it a useful (and slightly entertaining) resource for fellow tinkerers, nostalgic nerds, and anyone who’s ever yelled at a SCSI chain at 2AM.

So grab a coffee, dive in, and feel free to poke around. Just mind the cat — he’s probably sitting on the keyboard.
